Dr. John McGraw

Dr. McGraw has 21 years experience in health care business development and has created and implemented successful strategies for the advancement clinical trials and medical device development through licensing and acquisitions.
In addition to his extensive entrepreneurial and consulting experience, Dr. McGraw has also provided executive leadership to two public companies. He was VP of Operations for Novadaq Technologies Inc. (NASDAQ: NCVQ), a medical device imaging company which was acquired by Stryker Corporation for US $701M in 2017. He was also Senior Vice President Business Development & Strategy for CML HealthCare Inc (TSX:CLC), one of Ontario’s leading providers of laboratory diagnostic services and Canada’s largest provider of medical imaging services which was acquired by LifeLabs (owned by OMERS/Borealis) for CA$1.2B in 2013.
Dr. John Boone
Ph.D., Principal Founder of Breast CT, Director
Dr. Boone is a medical physicist with 32 years of experience in academia, with broad interests in medical imaging, computed tomography, and breast computed tomography. He has been the principal investigator of the Breast Tomography Project at University of California Davis for the past 18 years, and his laboratory has been at the forefront of the academic development of breast CT technology.
Dr. Boone is professor of radiology and biomedical engineering, and recently served as president of the American Association of Physicists in Medicine (AAPM), the principal medical physics organization in the U.S. He is co-author of the medical imaging textbook, Essential Physics of Medical Imaging and has authored more than 200 peer-reviewed papers and holds 13 U.S. patents.
In July 2019 Dr. Boone was awarded the prestigious William D. Coolidge Award presented by the AAMP in recognition of his lifetime achievement in medical physics.
Dr. Younes Achkire
Ph.D., Executive Vice President of Product Engineering
Dr. Younes Achkire has over 20 years of engineering experience from startups to working with large teams in established organizations and brings a unique combination of business development, product positioning, engineering, medical device product development, manufacturing, and senior project management expertise to his role where he will be responsible for working with StarFish Medical to expedite product development and fabrication processes on the first run of Izoview units, as well as oversee designing and manufacturing of additional Breast CT products.

Former CEO of Izotropic, Mr. Thast has served as board chairman, chief executive officer, senior executive, and director to several publicly listed companies. He has expertise in a number of fields including capital markets, company management, strategic planning, business development, and corporate governance.

Ms. Bellefleur has over 25 years of experience as a corporate accountant, focussing exclusively on public companies for the last 10 years. She is responsible for all aspects of regulatory financial reporting including the preparation of quarterly financial statements, management discussion and analysis reports, the coordination of annual audits, and government tax and regulatory reporting.
Legal Advisor, Director
Founder of multidisciplinary law firm Sodagar & Company Law Corp., Mr. Sodagar specializes in international business and commercial law, project finance, mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property, trademark, copyright, and licensing law.
In addition to his background in law, Mr. Sodagar holds a bachelor’s degree in medical & health physics and a master’s degree in medical biophysics. As part of his master’s program Sodagar worked on a CT with a C-arm for arterial and contrast enhanced imaging.
Mr. Proceviat has more than 35 years in business, finance, markets and operations spanning several industries operating in Canada, Europe and the United States. He is a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of BC and holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Management Information Systems from the University of British Columbia.
